Readyfolks

Terms of Service

Last updated: September 1, 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of readyfolks.com (the “Site”) and your purchase of the Aging Parent First Response Kit (the “Kit”). By using the Site or completing a purchase, you agree to these Terms and to our Refund Policy. The version of these Terms in force when you complete a purchase governs that purchase; later changes are never retroactive. You must be at least 18 to buy.

2. Who we are

The Site is operated by AFA Design, registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, address Collective Tower 1, Office 405, Dubai Hills, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Support: info@readyfolks.com — we aim to reply within two business days. Sales are currently offered to buyers in the United States.

3. The product

The Kit is a digital PDF, delivered by download immediately after purchase. Nothing physical ships. You can fill it in on a computer with a standard PDF reader, or print it and fill it in by hand. If your download fails or the file arrives damaged, contact us and we will redeliver it at no charge. The price is stated in US dollars (USD); your bank may add its own fees.

4. Your license

When you buy the Kit you get a personal, non-transferable license — not ownership of the content. You may download, save, print, and fill in the Kit to organize the affairs of one parent or elder, and you may share copies and completed pages with that person and their care circle: their family (including your siblings) and the professionals involved in their care, for that person’s benefit. Using the Kit for an additional parent or elder requires an additional purchase — that is what keeps each person’s information separate and safe.

5. What you may not do

Pages you have filled in with your own family’s information are yours to keep and use freely. If you materially breach this license, it ends automatically and you must delete your copies of the blank Kit; your completed family records remain yours.

6. Not medical, legal, or financial advice

The Kit and the Site are organizational tools, for general informational purposes only. They are not medical, legal, financial, or tax advice, and buying or using them creates no doctor–patient, attorney–client, or other professional relationship. Always consult qualified professionals about your parent’s health or legal affairs, and never disregard professional advice because of something in the Kit. Laws and forms vary by state and country; have any legal document reviewed by a licensed professional where you live. In an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number.

7. Intellectual property

The Kit, the Site, and the Readyfolks name and logo are owned by us or our licensors. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation.

8. Refunds

Because the Kit is delivered instantly in full, all sales are final, with the exceptions set out in our Refund Policy and any rights your local law gives you that cannot be excluded.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE KIT AND THE SITE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY THAT THE CONTENT IS COMPLETE, CURRENT, OR ERROR-FREE. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so some or all of the above may not apply to you; you may have additional rights that vary by jurisdiction.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the Kit or the Site is limited to the amount you paid us, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that applicable law does not allow to be limited. These limitations apply only to the extent permitted in your jurisdiction; certain limitations may not apply to New Jersey residents.

11. Your statutory rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes, limits, or waives any right or remedy you have under applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded, limited, or waived.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, except that if you are a consumer you also benefit from any mandatory protections of the law of the place where you live, and nothing in this clause takes those away. If something goes wrong, email us first at info@readyfolks.com — we will try to resolve it within 30 days. Either of us may bring a qualifying claim in small-claims court.

13. General

If part of these Terms is found invalid, the rest still applies. A failure to enforce a term is not a waiver of it. We may assign these Terms to a successor of the business; you may not assign your license. Sections 5–12 survive any termination. These Terms, the Refund Policy, and your order confirmation are the whole agreement for your purchase — except that any specific promise made on our product pages (such as sharing within your parent’s care circle) stands.
